I’m Bryan English and this is my super duper awesome corner of the internet! I am a single dedicated father of two amazing kids. I love spending time with them and finding new ways to make them laugh: creating games for them, drawing pictures for them, sharing my love of obscure movie lines with them… ( my daughter knows the first two rules of fight club and when the aliens come out ( mostly at night ))
I’m a strong open source advocate and believe software commoditization in the form of restrictive licenses limit both the users and developers of software. Software is a form of free speech and knowledge and should be treated as such. My passion is web development, photography, graphic design, layout, planning, programming, database, etc .
I started working at a dot com in 1999 as a content writer, concentrating on internet technology and graphic design tutorials. After that, I went on to do web development and software development at a small web development shop and shortly thereafter tried my hand at entrepreneurship doing on-site computer repair.
I currently work full time as a software developer, graphic designer, and provider of technical network support. In the future, I aspire to be an independent software designer, and I am always working on a few personal projects.
